Jennie Portillo

Jennie, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2024. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Annette Portillo and Yvette Portillo, who were always her pride and joy. Jennie's love extended to her two wonderful grandchildren, Alex Portillo and Jessica Perry, Granddaughter-in-law, Nancy Chavez and her precious great-granddaughter Evangelina Portillo, whom she adored beyond measure.

Jennie's life was a tapestry of beautiful moments, woven with care, compassion, and an endless capacity for love. She was known for her warm heart, infectious laughter, and the way she made everyone feel special and valued. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Jennie and her husband, Charles Portillo (who preceded her in death) always ensured that there were memories to be made and experiences to have whether it was taking the entire family on camping trips or long walks in the day/evening to places in the area, it was always a time to talk and enjoy the time spent. 

Jennie leaves behind a family that will forever cherish her memory and strive to honor her by living with the same grace and generosity she exemplified every day of her life. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will always live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
