In Loving Memory of Lauren Katherine Turner
Early in the morning of November 7, 2025, Lauren Katherine Turner, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, went to be with the Lord. She was 19 years old. Though her time with us was far too short, her spirit, laughter, and light will live on forever in our hearts.
Lauren was born on March 20, 2006, in Orange, CA, to Christopher and Christine Turner. From a young age, she was full of light, laughter, and determination — qualities that shaped the remarkable young woman she became.
Lauren was a devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, teammate, and friend whose laughter could fill a room and whose kindness lifted everyone around her. She had an incredible sense of humor and a natural gift for making people feel loved and seen. Her joy was contagious, and her presence made every room, every moment, and every team better.
A talented athlete and dedicated teammate, Lauren’s passion for soccer reflected her character: determined, selfless, and full of heart. She encouraged others to give their best, led by example, and created a sense of family among her teammates. Her teammates often said she was the first to celebrate their victories, and she was admired not just for her skill, but for her spirit — loyal, uplifting, and full of fun. Lauren brought energy, warmth, and laughter wherever she went, on and off the field, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Lauren’s faith was an important part of who she was. She was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, where she found comfort, purpose, and community. Her kind heart, humility, and compassion reflected her faith in the way she lived and loved others. She loved to volunteer both at the Church and with FocusOC, particularly at the OC Food Bank.
She is survived by her loving parents, Christopher and Christine Turner; her sisters Nicolette (22) and Victoria (19); her grandmother, Robin Turner; and many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
The family kindly asks that the press and media respect their privacy during this very difficult time. They are focused on honoring and remembering their daughter, and do not wish to have any coverage or reporting at her funeral. Funeral details are not being published; please reach out to the family or close friends if you need information. Thank you for understanding.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lauren’s name to: St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church or to Cal State Fullerton Women's Soccer.
May her memory be eternal — Αἰωνία ἡ μνήμη.
