On September 6, 2024, Phyllis Lofquist passed away due to complications of congestive heart failure. She was born in St. Paul Minnesota, but was raised on a farm, which she didn’t much care for. She was eager to move to the big city (Minneapolis) and build a life for herself. She met her husband, Harvey Lofquist, through mutual friends and married at age 26. She and Harvey had three children, Craig, Timothy, and Melissa. In the process of raising her family, they moved around the country from Minneapolis to San Diego to Boston to Denver to Anaheim Hills. During these travels, the family all enjoyed and developed an appreciation for all the country has to offer. She spent some time working in real estate and eventually retired. In her retirement years, she and Harvey spent their time traveling abroad, and especially enjoyed taking care of grandkids in their favorite home of all their travels in Anaheim Hills. They resided there for 45 years and cherished the memories created in their home. Phyllis was a light to all who crossed her path. She will be remembered as a loving mother, caring grandmother, and exceptional friend.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Tim, and grandkids, Lauren and Cole.
